Join The Team

We Are Hiring!

We need multiple new team members to join the Team as ‘Leisure Assistants’.

What we do?

The sports centre’s objective is to deliver the safe access and operation of sports facilities for the community of Clevedon. Being part of the Team will mean you are responsible for ensuring the facilities are prepared and ready for use. This means ensuring facilities are clean and safe for use, ensuring the badminton nets are in place for badminton bookings, and football goals for football bookings etc etc.

How we do it?

We operate using cloud based booking software. This software holds all the bookings for the shift you are working. Its colour coded to help show what activity is what so that we know what equipment is or is not necessary to organise for that booking. Bookings can be made by clients/customers online or over the phone. So being comfortable using software and conversing on the telephone is an advantage.

When we operate?

The sports facilities are available to the public outside of school hours only. This means from 5.30pm til 10pm on weeknights, and 9am til 6pm on the weekends. Weekend shifts are split in two, one a morning shift and one an afternoon shift. This means that the shifts are strictly evenings and weekends. It works well for the whole team if team members are prepared to work 2 week night shifts and one weekend shift, but this can vary.

What we are looking for?

We are after individuals who are very well organised, responsible, and proactive in their time management. Being comfortable with using I.T, interacting with people, and being able to lift and/or move sporting equipment is a key requirement for the role.

What we give you?

We will pay a minimum of £7.49ph, we will provide you with uniform, and training to be able to undertake all the duties required.
